Crazy 4 Challenges - Try a new technique!

It's time to try a new technique with Crazy 4 Challenges!  Apply any paste or paint through a stencil and while your medium is still wet, add some glitter.
I used Karen Burniston's new State it Stencil called Coffee.  I applied embossing paste - the white gritty kind - all over the stencil.  I removed the stencil and covered it with Chocolate Silk Microfine Gliter and set it aside to dry.  I was expecting more glitter to stay in the paste but most of it shook off.  I like the shabby look of it although it wasn't what I was expecting.
I used the same Coffee stencil and a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to trace the filigree pattern on the cup.  I die cut the sentiment using Alphabet 1 & 2 Lower Case.  I wanted the letters to stand out a bit so I used the side of my marker to drag ink along the edges.
I used Cup Pop Stand on the inside for the perfect "Hot" cup of coffee complete with steam compliments of the accessory die that's included in the set.  The steam is cut from Cardstock Vellum and the spoon is Silver Metallic Shimmer Sheetz.

Happy Stampin',
Raquel
